Pampering and self love

On Sunday I finally got round to spending an hour on myself, so I decided to give my eyebrows a pluck and tint and finally used the glycolic face treatment (which I purchased back in August).

How often do you treat yourself to some me time? We all run around after everyone else and we’re usually the last on our lists.

Personally I go through stages I either have no time what so ever for myself or I have quite a bit of time (this isn’t often). As I’ve said in my previous posts I’m trying to make some consistent me time. I was wondering what everyone else does for me time? I currently have one dance class a week. I would like to go back to the gym but that eats into my time with my family.

I’m going to try going to my room earlier on an evening or at least three evenings a week. I’ve got three books I would like to read however I have only started one and I cant even remember the last time I picked it up. Once the beauty salons reopened after lockdown I did treat myself (I say I, I already had a huge amount of vouchers that needed using) to a whole day of nails, massages, pedicure ect. It was amazing but not an experience that I can carry out often. Since then apart from Sunday evening I haven’t even had the chance to paint my nails (which reminds me I’m going to do them in the morning)

It makes me think, how does everyone else fit it all in?

I see other mums with spotless manicures, immaculate make up and I just wonder how? I know I’m disorganised which doesn’t help me, but how do you become more organised. Is that even possible? Everybody is different so its hard to know. I may just have a google of that and see what I come up with. If I become more organised will I have more time for me?
