Day 1 (of god knows how many there will be)

Today was the first day of my second furlough. What did I do exciting I hear you ask! Well nothing. I picked up some packages, popped to my docs, went to Asda and tidied the house (not even that thorough may I add)

One of my directors called me today not knowing the other director had furloughed me (alkuard) so turns out I’m back in work tomorrow. I don’t mind as I’m sure there will be more days off as there won’t be enough work to keep me going full time. But we’ll see.

Anyone else furloughed? What’s your plans?

There was something that really annoyed me today, well to be true full it annoys me often. I’ve always taught my children to walk on the inside of the path away from the road and that if there are people coming towards us we are to fall into single file with the children infront so I can see them. We live in a town with small paths. Yet adults feel the need to walk towards us hogging the inside of the path trying to push my daughter to the outside of the path or into the road when the paths are small. Or you get parents walking towards you with their children side by side again hogging up the whole path and not falling into single file to pass.

This has been a bugbear of mine since my daughter could walk however these last few months have been more annoying with the whole Covid crap. I’ve had people in their 50’s I’d guess couples holding hands huffing and puffing mumbling under their masks because I refuse to let my daughter move from the inside of the path into the road so they can carry on walking hand in hand. She has little to no road sense as it is. It really really grinds on me.

So what’s your bugbear? I have too many, more and more will come to light as time passes so I won’t bore you all with them today.
