Going Grey Gracefully!! Ummmm

Hair hair hair and more hair. As women we’re never happy with the hair we’re given (I’m talking about the hair on our heads).

I’ve mentioned before that I’ve been going grey since the tender age of 18. I recently found out that this is because I have pernicious anemia. I do have injections to manage this (although I constantly have to fight the nhs for them) however I don’t seem to benefit from the reversal of my grey that many have reported since getting the correct treatment.

However this wasn’t my intention of this post, it was to ask for those of you going grey how are you dealing with this?

I’ve been dying my hair since this started, I’ve always tried to stay within my natural colour (well apart from two disastrous attempts for blonde in my younger years). But I noticed more and more how hard it was to cover my roots coming through and I was going to have my hair coloured at the hairdressers every 4 weeks.

So I went blonde, gradually and properly this time. I have to say as over at least 80% of my hair is now grey (honestly I’m not that old) it looks better when my roots are coming through.

But the big question is, do blondes have more fun. Well no is the answer I’m still me I just have different colour hair.
