Journaling

Shopping today my daughter and I spotted a very shiny new book in W h smiths. And as you can probably guess we couldn’t leave it behind. Turns out this note book is actually a journal (it did have a sticker and other details that made it clear it is a journal I was just blind sighted by the holographic letters and the idea of a shiny new notepad)

Most of my impulse buys tend to gather dust with my lonely old items that have once been touched and then hidden away (think I have a shopping problem).

Anyway I’ve decided to try and keep a journal for the next month as I’d bought it anyway. To me it seems a very American thing to do, not very British, thoughts anyone?

Who keeps a journal? Does it help? Are they easy to keep up with?

You all know by now I’m a flutterer I bounce from one thing to another, I have a few months hiding from the world and then I’m back with something new. Am I going to be able to stick to it? Will it actually make a difference to my life?

I don’t know I just like my pretty new (dam expensive) book. How long before she’s relegated to the back of a draw or shelf! I hope not I like her and the idea of keeping a journal, it may help me see things more positively.

Night All xx

Photo just because she’s pretty
